Privacy Policy
Effective July 18, 2026 ยท It's a hot dog detector. We still wrote you a real privacy policy, because that's the law and also because you deserve to know where your glizzy pics go.
The 90-second version: Glizzy-1B decides if a photo is a hot dog, entirely on your phone. It collects nothing unless you opt in to feedback. If you do opt in, and only for the photos you personally tap ๐/๐ on, it sends that photo and some boring device info to us so we can figure out why the model thinks a golden retriever is a bratwurst. No precise location (we do note your rough state or country, from your IP โ then we toss the IP). No name. No account. No ads. No selling your data. No creepy stuff. You can turn it off or ask us to delete everything, anytime.
By default, Glizzy-1B is a hermit. Classification happens 100% on your device and nothing leaves it. The very first time you open the app, we ask โ plainly โ whether you want to help improve it. If you tap "Allow feedback," then and only then, for each verdict you rate with ๐ญ Yes / ๐ซ No, we send:
iPhone16,2), iOS version, app version, and your language/region. For debugging, not dossier-building.Feedback ID we generate on install so we can tell "50 submissions from one tester" apart from "50 testers." It is not linked to you, your name, your Apple ID, or your phone's real identifiers. See it in Settings โ Feedback ID.When you submit feedback, the photo and info travel to a hosted intake service (Supabase) that acts purely as a mailbox. Every few minutes, a private server we control pulls everything down and deletes it from the mailbox, so it doesn't pile up in the cloud. From there it lives on that private server, where the developer looks at misclassifications to improve the model. That's the entire journey. It is not sold, rented, traded, or handed to advertisers โ there is no one to sell hot dog photos to, and we wouldn't anyway.
That's the whole guest list. No third-party ad networks, no data brokers, no analytics middlemen.
Feedback you submit is kept on the developer's private server for as long as it's useful for improving the model. Because every submission is tagged with your anonymous Feedback ID and nothing else, we can find and delete your data if you ask โ just send us that ID (from Settings โ Feedback ID). Turn feedback off and we stop collecting new data immediately.
Feedback ID (Settings โ Feedback ID) through the in-app feedback and we'll wipe its submissions.Glizzy-1B isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. If you're a kid: hot dogs are a sandwich. Fight your parents about it, not us.
Feedback moves over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and the intake is access-controlled. We keep the private archive on a server we control. We're realistic โ this is hot dog photos, not medical records โ but we still don't want them leaking, and we treat them accordingly. No method of transmission or storage is 100% bulletproof, and we won't pretend otherwise.
If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and bump the "Effective" date up top. If the changes are a big deal, we'll make sure you actually notice, rather than burying it in paragraph 47.
Questions, deletion requests, or strong opinions about hot-dog-as-sandwich theory: reach us through the in-app feedback in Glizzy-1B. No email, no account, no phone tree โ just a message box.
